Sonia Ferrari is an associate professor of management and marketing at the Faculty of Economics of Università della Calabria, where she is the president of the degree in Valorizzazione dei Sistemi Turistico Culturali. She has also been president of the degree in tourism science. She teaches tourism marketing and territorial marketing, and has also taught management, service management, event marketing, and tourism management. She has been a rector's delegate for services’ quality and a visiting scholar (CNR grant) at Texas A&M University. Her main research interests are tourism and place marketing, event marketing, service marketing and management, and tourism in protected areas and natural parks.
