Communication is one of the most important elements of our personal and professional life. The purpose of strategic communication is to inform and influence the perception and behavior of the public. In my opinion, strategic communication used in business is associated with marketing because it helps to promote products. Moreover, when strategic communication is used to manipulate a state, I think it is just propaganda.

In my opinion, stratgic communication is a type of management communication which implies using a strategy to advertise. It is a way of marketing, which can tend to be a type of propaganda. Strategic communication is based on some steps like setting a purpose and using a strategy to transmit the message that could be used to achieve that purpose. Strategic communication could be used to advertise an organization or a brand, and it could be facilitated by mass media.

From my personal experience within the public social environment, strategic communication is definitely an element of marketing. Whether we talk about directly targeted groups to whom we want to address a purposeful message, whether we talk about a promo campaign that tries to find the "weak spots" of the public, I strongly believe that strategic communication is the capacity and, of course, a means to reach the targeted public with the products-services-goods-campaigns to which they belong (or they think or they are made to think they belong to). Strategic communication is not only propaganda, because we cannot put different strategies at the same level, even if (maybe) the purpose is similar. Strategic communication is more than propaganda because it aims to link the person with its needs, the company with the services they need, the organizations with the programs/projects they need. Propaganda has often had a slightly negative conotation and this is one of the elements that differs in the case of strategic communication.

In my opinion, strategic communication is more than a simple element of marketing. I think that strategic communication is everything. For me, strategic communication means to say right things to right people on the right time, in order to receive desired results. And this, strategic communication, can bring a lot of benefits for who communicate strategically and on the other side can break down everyone who didn't realise how important is this tool.

In my opinion strategic communication is an element of marketing because we used to communicate every day. In this way we are trying to connect to the people to keep in touch with the new products or news and to give some positive emotions. For example, like was said in the second video, when we want to organize a festival, we should try as much as possible to give the right information, because people should know elementary information: when is the festival? who will be there? how much are the tickets? In this way we are using strategic communication like an element of marketing. Of course, some of the people can use it like a fancy name for propaganda. In the most of cases it is used for political needs. For example if someone is trying to apply for a president post, he/she is trying to speak nicely and to create a conception that everything will be perfect if he/she will rule the country. But in many cases was just lies. In this point strategic communication became a fancy name for propaganda.

First of all, we need to differentiate strategic communication and just communication. What do I understand by word communication? It is a process or result of information exchange by words, sounds, signs etc. It can be oral as well as written, moreover, it involves active listening, asking questions, providing feedback and even more, this kind of interaction brings people together and due to communication new, creative ideas appear which can change the world a better place to live. And now let's move to understanding the essence of STRATEGIC communication. Communication can be strategic only if this activity includes a corporation’s mission, vision and values. This subfield of communication explores the capacity of all organizations and government for engaging in purposeful communication. It emphasizes strategy rather than specific tactics that is precisely why SC should be identified as the purposeful use of communication by an organization (government) to fulfil its mission. Since this term is interdisciplinary, it deals with public relations, management communication, and advertising, accordingly my vote was for SC as an element of marketing.

While strategic communication has become a buzzword in some areas, it by far does not cover the relevance and meaning of ''communication'' per se. Communication for development, or for governance, goes way beyond public relations, marketing and information campaigns. It's about what happens in social groups, political systems and what happens to our reality. I assume that people who don't see communication as a core issue of development see only the strategic, instrumental, campaign side of it. But it goes so much beyond that. It's about the glue that makes our society, it's about what drives us, what drives politics - it's about people.

I think that strategic communication refers to the power of convincing people about an issue, a theory or everything else. Communication is, as anyone knows, one of the singles and important instruments used by politicians in their campaigns to make people trust them and to convince that their promises will be accomplished if people will vote for them. But the politicians are not the only one who use the strategic communication in their favour, there are many domains that use this method to convince the public about something. So, in my opinion, strategic communication is a marketing tool used by any kind of groups or individual personality and we meet it everyday in any circumstances.

I will be brief. I consider that it is element of marketing. Entrepreneurs create products and services for exact needs. As detailed they imagine customers, for instance, their habits, desires and images as successfully they would be able to realise their goods. People should filter information which they accept than they won't be a victim of propaganda.

I think strategic communication influence our life constantly. If you want to do or reach something you must work with the other people, staff members, consumers, management etc. Many people work in trade, services and the other fields but just part of them can achive good results. Realization of any plans a person must have some skills, experience, knowlege etc. The person can recieve them, for example, in a university, certificate programs, work in group, this course. For our communication we also can use different tools (WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram) that boost decision making influences in any time and everywhere.
