Sometimes there's a perception that all you need to do is communicate and that you know communication is an and to itself. But it's really not strategic communication is something that uses communication to get but you have to have a plan you have to have an idea of where you want to go and use the appropriate vehicle to get there so whether it's traditional media, newspapers, TV or whether it's new media social media. Those are tools they don't really change the fundamentals of how you communicate it's all about figuring out who your key audiences are and what messages are appropriate to reach them. But there are so many more ways to do that now than there ever were before.

From my point of view, strategic communication is the key of solving problems worldwide in any domain. By using strategic communication both parts of the discussion get advantages in the end. The problem appears when strategic communication is replaced by propaganda. Using propaganda can give you an early advantage but history has shown us that many times propaganda led to conflicts.

Strategic communication is a way of dealing with the new society. By strategic communication we can achieve more that by using the old fashioned way. We must not confuse strategic communication with propaganda, because we talk about two very different things, which have different results. From propaganda, you can only see short term results.

From my point of view, in today’s increasingly complex world, organizations vie for the attention, although their specific activities can be conceptualized in various ways—from coordinating administrative functions to product promotion and relationship building—all of these disciplines involve the organization, defined in its broadest sense, communicating purposefully to advance its mission. This is the essence of strategic communication. The two keywords that comprise the term strategic communication are particularly significant. First, these activities are strategic, not random or unintentional communications—even though unintended consequences of communications can adversely impact the ability of an organization to achieve its strategic goals. Importantly, strategic must not be defined narrowly. Instead, strategic is a rich, multidimensional concept that needs to be examined broadly. Second, the concept of strategic communication emphasizes the fact that communication ought to be the focal interest of communications scholarship.

In my opinion, strategic communication is a key element in marketing domain, because this kind of communication teaches you the ways in which organizations communicate in order to accomplish a goal, and includes courses that examine communication through public relations, marketing communication, and communication campaigns. On the other hand, some people can use this kind of communication for propaganda, brainwashing other people through fake news, articles etc, and I think there will be no good things coming up from this.

I think that strategic communication, from my point of view, is actually the union between communication effort with an agenda and a plan. Why? Because a plan involves promoting the brand of an organization, making people to do specific actions or advocating particular legislation.

From my point of view, strategic communication has more meanings. First of all, communication means a relationship between the one who communicates and the one who receives the information. If the first one has no feedback from the second,we can't say that there is communication. Secondly, a strategy suppose a plan, a tactic made by a company, for example, in order to have as many as possible customers. In conclusion, strategic communication is an element of marketing, is a planned way to attract people through communication.

Good evening, I chose Option 2 because strategic communication is used in marketing quite often. In order to get the most out of the audience you need to know its interests. Having identified important aspects of strategic communication, it is possible to create a marketing strategy for the target group.
